Management Introduction

My name is David Hilliar. I am 71 years old and married to my wife, Helena. Together we have two children and three grandchildren.
In the early 1980s, at the outset of the computer revolution, I founded Bookkeeping and Payroll Services with the vision of helping small to medium-sized businesses transition to and benefit from computerized accounting and payroll systems. This initiative marked the beginning of a 37-year journey of continuous growth, innovation, and adaptation. Over that time, we expanded both our service capabilities and our diverse client base, supporting businesses across a wide range of industries and sizes. Many of our clients remained with us from the early years through to the sale of the business.
In 2022, we successfully sold the company and retired. I continue to remain professionally active by managing the accounts for a charity where I also serve as Treasurer and board member. Additionally, I am a committee member of the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta.
Outside of my professional commitments, I enjoy sailing, photography, and Amateur Radio.
